On December 22nd of this year (2009), I was driving from New Orleans to Atlanta when the temperature gauge on my Volkswagen Jetta began to rise. I checked the coolant level and found there was no fluid in the reservoir. I filled it with water and called AAA, they gave me the address of your VW Dealership. When I pulled into the service area, I spoke with your Service Advisor David Stokes and explained my problem.
He immediately called one of your Service Technicians, Cris Brock. In short order, they had the car in your service area and diagnosed the problem as a split in the hose that runs from the engine block to the PCV Valve. I had explained that I was hoping to get to Peachtree City before it was too late to see my granddaughters. Cris started working on the problem and in about an hour it was repaired.
Mr. Ingram, I have never had such courteous and prompt service in my life. Your employees went well beyond the call of duty to solve my problem. They were courteous, prompt, and friendly and it makes one realize that truly, "people make the difference" in any business. While my wife was waiting in the lounge area, one of your sales representatives spent time talking with her. She said later, that she had never been in an automobile dealership where all the people seemed to really care about their jobs. To top it off, when I went to pay the bill, the lady wished me a Merry Christmas and wouldn't accept payment.
I though my dealership in the Dallas area was good, but I have never had an experience like this in my life.
You truly have a remarkable business and I congratulate you on the success that you are enjoying.
